Urogynaecology and Pelvic Floor Care
Our clinic specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of urogynaecological conditions, including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and other disorders affecting the pelvic floor. We employ evidence-based assessment strategies and treatments to address these issues effectively and individually.
Our consulting rooms are based in Malvern, however we also consult from sessional rooms in Parkville and Geelong (Waurn Ponds).
We work closely with our multidisciplinary team of colleagues to provide a complete and patient centred approach. Our close and trusted network includes Anaesthetic, Colorectal, Gastroenterology, Specialist Physiotherapy, Continence Nursing and Pain Specialist involvement where required.
Dr Felicity Gould is a Subspecialist Urogynaecologist. She completed specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology training prior to completing Subspecialist training in Urogynaecology and Pelvic reconstructive surgery. Her training was completed at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne Australia and Addenbrooke's Cambridge University Hospital, United Kingdom.
Felicity currently holds a permanent consultant position as a Urogynaecologist at the Royal Women’s Melbourne and is actively involved in the training of the next generation of specialists and subspecialists.
Dr Ruth Cameron-Jeffs has completed her Subspecialist training in Urogynaecology with training at both the Royal Women’s and the Mercy Hospital in Melbourne. Prior to, Ruth this is completed her specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at the Royal Women’s.
Ruth currently works as a consultant at the Royal Women’s in the Pelvic floor Service and is the senior consultant for the perineal clinic caring for post partum injuries.
