Dr Felicity Gould is an experienced Sub-specialist Urogynaecologist and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgeon.

Felicity completed O&G, Urogynaecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery training in Melbourne Australia and Addenbrooke's Cambridge University Hospital, United Kingdom and is based in Melbourne Australia.

Felicity is our practice founder. She opened our service in 2017 after completing her sub-specialist training and working at a variety of other locations in Melbourne. She is passionate about a service that is evidence based, patient orientated, and provides expert care to women. She worked to sure there is significant community of multidisciplinary colleagues who share her mindset and expertise to provide care that is comprehensive.

In 2022, she welcomed Dr Ruth Cameron-Jeffs to the practice. Ruth is an expert in the field who shares a similar mindset and dedication to patient care as Felicity. Ruth and Felicity have worked along side each other for many years prior to joining forces in their private practice.

Felicity works part-time at the Royal Women’s hospital where she is appointed as a consultant to the Pelvic Floor Service. She is involved in the training of our next generation of pelvic floor surgeons and general gynaecologists. Felicity primary consulting location is Malvern, however she also consults in Parkville and Geelong. She operates regularly from Frances Perry House Parkville and Epworth Freemasons East Melbourne.

When she is not at work, she is usually out and about with her two adolescent children, husband and giant bernese mountain dog.

Current research, publications and presentations

Felicity is passionate about clinical research in the field of Urogynaecology and is actively involved in a number of clinical research projects in her roles at the Royal Womens and with Addenbrookes UK as both clinical investigator and supervisor. Research is a vital tool to enable both clinicians and patients access to improved outcomes. Good quality research facilitates clinical innovation and to ensures evidence based best practice can be disseminated to the wider community. For updates and information on current projects that are underway see our news section.
